Windows Server Consultant – VM, Windows Admin, AD, Azure M365 Admin, BI Tools The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both Windows server administration and broader infrastructure management. This role involves managing and maintaining our Windows environment and supporting various infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. Must have: Windows Server Management, VMWare Management, Azure and M365 Administration, PowerBI Remote Work (WFH) with Hybrid Schedule: Work from home during business hours, Some weekend hours may be needed. Must have excellent communications skills! (verbal and written) Key Responsibilities: Windows Admin – Build new virtual machine servers (VMWare vCenter and ESXi) environments Perform troubleshooting to resolve incidents Perform requested operational tasks such as copying files, changing Windows operating system settings, and installing software. Use PowerShell and other tools to perform operational tasks with multiple servers simultaneously. Administer and maintain Windows servers, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability. Perform regular patching and updates to Windows servers to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies. Active Directory (on-prem) Administrator – Manage AD OUs, users, and computer objects. Create, configure, and deploy Group Policy Objects. Knowledge and experience with Sites and Services, Domains and Trusts, and integrated tools such as DFS, DNS and DHCP. Azure and M365 Administrator – Experienced with Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Active Directory, including connectors for a hybrid environment. Deploy, configure, and manage M365 applications and associated access. Strong experience with Teams and SharePoint/SharePoint Online administration desired. Other desired experience: PowerBI reporting, administration of common tools such as (url removed), Tableau, IBM Connect:Direct, AppXtender/WebXtender and others. Provide weekend and after-hours support as needed. Qualifications: 6+ years Windows server administration and patching. Proficiency in managing Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019). 4+ years VMware vSphere (vCenter and ESXi) administration . Advanced Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows server roles and features. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or VCP-DCV) are preferred
