Your role The individual in this role will be accountable for successful and timely delivery of projects in an agile environment where digital products are designed and built using cutting-edge technology for WMA clients and Advisors.. It is a devops role that entails working with teams located in Budapest - Hungary, Wroclaw - Poland, Pune - India and New Jersey, US. This role will include, but not be limited to, the following: • maintain and build CI/CD pipelines • migrate applications to cloud environment • build scripts and dashboards for monitoring health of application • build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience • deployment of changes in prod and non-prod environments • follow release management processes for application releases • maintain stability of non-prod environments • work with development, QA and support groups in trouble shooting environment issues Detailed salary information: • New York: the salary range for this role is $to $180000 The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. We are responsible for WMA (Wealth Management Americas) client facing technology applications. Your role will be accountable for design /implementation of technical solutions with in WMA and timely delivery of projects following agile / scrum this role you will be accountable for platforms and projects in the WMA Digital Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management Technology. This is a hands-on technology role working in US. You will also work with broader team members distributed across US, Poland and India. Diversity helps us grow, together. Your expertise Your expertise : • expert knowledge of Git Lab and CI/CD pipelines, expert hands-on knowledge in Linux and Azure scripting, hands-on knowledge on designing, developing, and delivering large, scalable and distributed systems on Microsoft Azure cloud platform with focus on business continuity compliance, resilience, scalability and redundancy while managing reasonable subscription costs. • experienced in providing Dev Ops engineer support for monolith Java/J2EE application as well as microservices and event driven architected apps running on Azure, expert knowledge of cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and other cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure. • knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake (ADLS) & Databricks is a plus. DBs like Cosmos DB or Mongo DB is a plus, good UNIX/Linux experiences and scripting skills including scheduling/automation like Auto Sys or TWS • cloud deployment tools (helm, terraform, ansible), containerization technologies (docker), container orchestration tools (K8s), VCS platforms like github and gitlab • build tools like maven/gradle, sonar, Fortify tools, CI/CD processes and tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Teamcity), scripting languages (bash/python, puppet), logging and monitoring tools (App Dynamics, App Insights) • basic Networking (load balancing, ssh, certificates), middleware products (Kafka, Tomcat), excellent communication skills and team player, working knowledge of Agile development processes and tools • analytical and methodical problem solving and debugging skills, tuned to Finance industry and / or service provider culture About us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
