Job Overview: Niksoft Systems is seeking a skilled Microsoft Windows Server Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of systems administration experience working in an enterprise environment, preferably in a DOD environment. This role requires MCSE and/or MCSA certification and involves managing, building, and troubleshooting physical and virtual servers using Windows Operating Systems. You will also be responsible for deployment, configuration, and life cycle management of the Windows platforms. Average salary: $120,000 per year. Responsibilities: • Active Directory domain administration, including Group Policy deployment, management, and troubleshooting. • Maintain system documentation and develop new documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices. • Analyze and monitor system performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues. • Validating and implementing critical system patches. • Create, deploy, and administer file servers and shares for functionality in hybrid environments.
