All Federal Work-Study students should read the program rules and regulations located at http://www.belmont.edu/sfs/employment/fws.html Primary Duties And Responsibilities • Works closely with Associate Director in cleaning and preparing first destination career outcomes data for visualizations and reporting, including reaching out to career development specialists as needed to ask questions, and researching to ensure consistent and accurate data • Compile reports of non-respondent and “still looking” submissions from first destination survey to disseminate to career development specialists and/or faculty and staff in a variety of departments in order to solicit secondary source information on graduates in question • Learns how to use Tableau through observing Associate Director, replicating previous work, hands-on trial and error experimentation • Uses Tableau to replicate first destination career outcomes report visualizations from previous year’s report using most recent data and/or create new visualizations of interest that would be especially be useful in internal decision-making and strategy • Maintains confidentiality of data and student/staff Required Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and analytical skills Willingness to learn Ability to learn quickly Able to adapt to changing digital technology Proactive and strategic thinker Required Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and accept individual responsibility for projects or assignments Knowledge or experience using Tableau would be a plus. Required Education Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Ideally junior or senior with classes and/or experience working with large amounts of data Required Experience Ideally a student who has worked with large amounts of data
