As the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues, you will ensure that our internal systems, networks, and equipment are secure, maintained, and operating efficiently. This role supports user management, hardware/software deployment, network maintenance, and continuous process improvements to enhance overall productivity. Job Duties • User & Account Management: Create/manage user accounts, emails, distribution groups, and permissions. Configure devices (laptops, mobiles, telephony) for new hires. Offboard employees by promptly removing access and securing data. • Hardware & Software Support: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. Install, update, and configure operating systems and key applications. Manage IT equipment procurement and inventory. • Network & Systems Management: Oversee networked devices (printers, scanners, shared drives). Assist with basic network tasks (cable management, connectivity troubleshooting) and coordinate with vendors. Perform routine backups, updates, and security checks. • Technical Support: Act as the primary helpdesk contact (in-person, phone, email, or ticketing). Diagnose and resolve first-level technical issues. • Documentation & Process Improvement: Document IT procedures, asset inventories, and configurations. Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and security. Qualifications • Bachelor’s in IT or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years in IT support/administration, ideally in a small-to-mid business • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft 365/Azure AD, and common office suites. Experience with user account management and networked devices • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, switches, routers) and troubleshooting skills.
