Position Title: AKS/JSK/Terraform SME Location : Dallas, TX /Atlanta, GA / Seattle, WA Locals Only · To provide design, engineering, development, planning and administration of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for a set of critical business applications. · To provide design, engineering, development, planning and administration of Azure and AWS PaaS and IaaS services through extensive use of automation and terraform. · Work closely with application, engineering, security and operations teams to engineer and build Kubernetes and Azure PaaS & IaaS solutions within an agile and modern enterprise grade operating model. · Development of operating model for the above environments and facilitating handover to business and IT operations teams. · Hands-on experience in Helm and Azure networking for AKS troubleshooting. · Design solutions for Kubernetes based architecture while making sure the best practices are followed. · Creation of terraform scripts, modules, and (as a bonus) provide implementations · Associate who have authored, from scratch, terraform scripts that have been used by a wide audience. · Creating new projects, updating, adding/removing resources, state files, variables, terraform outputs, provider authentication methods. · Experience developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform · Good Experience in writing Terraform programming scripts for automating installation and configuration of various applications & its components. · Hands-on experience in provisioning Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise or community edition. · Experience writing custom terraform providers/plug-ins · Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python and configuration languages such as YAML/JSON. · Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform. · Install and configure Terraform to provision Azure resources. · Creating, maintaining, and updating pipelines with Azure DevOps, and Git to deploy Azure resources. · Create Terraform Base templates for mass deployments · Create an Azure (Windows/Linux) VM infrastructure using Terraform. · Build & Deploy Azure Infrastructure Using Terraform. · Need more than users of terraform, via the JSKs/Stratum Layers that are widely used already.
