The M365 Collaboration Services Administrator develops solutions enabling teams to easily share ideas, collaborate on files, and automate business processes using the Microsoft 365 platform. Additionally, this position provides administration and escalation support of M365 collaboration services including SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, OneDrive, Stream, Forms, Viva Engage, M365 Copilot, Copilot Chat and Planner. This position works closely with architects, SharePoint developers, SharePoint and M365 administrators, project managers, business analysts, subject matter experts and other key stakeholders to deliver SharePoint sites, Microsoft Teams Rooms and M365 applications that address documented business requirements and operate within design specifications. The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff and translate business requirements into technical solutions is critical for this position. As a member of the MNIT Enterprise Collaboration Support team, this position serves as a resource for SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Teams policy management, OneDrive, Stream, Forms, Planner, Copilot, Viva Engage and other M365 applications service administration staff and agency-based technology resources. This position requires an employee to be onsite in St. Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location. • Telework for Minnesota IT Services is available on a limited basis. • Only candidates residing in Minnesota and its bordering counties are eligible for telework. Resume tips here.: Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of IT related experience in Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace solutions or similar evergreen cloud technologies. Experience must include: • Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages which facilitates a mutual understanding, and communicates complex technical topics in a way business users can understand • Customer service skills which includes active listening, empathy, and problem-solving • Management of service ticket queues and prioritization of service requests through an ITSM system. • Hands-on experience with collaboration tools and services within the Microsoft 365 suite, such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive; including permissions management • Working knowledge of video conferencing technology, such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and/or Cisco rooms A master’s degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor’s degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate’s degree substitutes for one (1) year.
