Role Summary: As an Azure DevOps Engineer - Transition Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the transition from Jira to Azure DevOps. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of DevOps engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: • Lead the transition from Jira to Azure DevOps, including migrating projects, workflows, and data. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope for the transition process. • Design and implement Azure DevOps pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation. • Configure and customize Azure DevOps to align with the organization's development methodologies and practices. • Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams on Azure DevOps usage and best practices. • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to optimize Azure DevOps performance. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. • Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. • Proven experience in transitioning from Jira to Azure DevOps in a large-scale environment. • In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps services, including Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Test Plans. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with automation tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
