Job description

Primary Function : The ETL Tester/SQA position is responsible for testing data warehouse and data mart related extraction, transformation and load functions. Suitable candidate must have expert ability to read, analyze and digest business requirements and review ETL routines to test their accuracy. The candidate will also be responsible for working and engaging with department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders in the use and delivery of data. Duties and Responsibilities: Help identify data quality issues and work with source systems to address Develop, document and maintain procedures for programs and processes Coordinate and work with other technical staff to develop coding standards and quality assurance policies and procedures Maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to ETL processes Other duties may be required and assigned by the supervisor Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience in SQL Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office ideal General knowledge of project management and systems development lifecycle preferred Experience working with complex, large-scale relational databases, statistical programs and other tools to compile and interpret quantitative data Skills: Experience working on large project teams Strong critical and creative reasoning skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills desired along with strong interpersonal skills Attention to detail and strong organization skills essential Minimum Education and Experience: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent technical work experience 4+ years developing mappings and workflows using the Informatica platform Experience accessing, compiling and analyzing large volume data into concise and precise information utilizing SQL Server database programming Hands-on experience with data analytics tools, Oracle SQL, and Informatica Powercenter Candidates should be local.
