Position Summary The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for effectively designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure and services. In this collaborative position, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure the optimal availability, scalability, and security of Azure-based applications and systems. Your expertise will be integral in troubleshooting and optimizing Azure environments while keeping pace with emerging technologies and best practices in enterprise cloud computing. Additionally, you will be a key player in migrating and securing new client data across the Azure platform. Key Responsibilities: • Deploy and manage cloud resources including virtual machines, storage, and databases on Microsoft Azure. • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of Azure infrastructure. • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support application hosting and integration. • Migrate client data and workloads securely to Azure, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met. • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps pipelines. • Monitor and troubleshoot Azure environments, swiftly responding to incidents and identifying improvement areas. • Contribute to automation and orchestration efforts to enhance cloud operations. • Utilize cloud knowledge to support multi-cloud strategies as needed, particularly with AWS. Requirements: • Proficiency with Azure infrastructure, services, and administration. • Strong experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform is essential; experience with CloudFormation and ARM is a plus). • Familiarity with container services such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Instances. • Proven ability to manage cloud deployments securely and efficiently. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Working knowledge of AWS environments and best practices is advantageous. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical teams. • Demonstrated experience working on cloud migration projects and securing client data. • Relevant certifications (such as Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desired.
