Senior Azure Cloud Architect Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Architect to join our team and help us design, implement, and migrate to cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with both IT and business units to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs and expectations. You will also be responsible for providing leadership-level input on cloud projects, ensuring best practices, and providing technical mentoring to other infrastructure engineers. Job Responsibilities • Design and architect cloud solutions using Azure services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Scale Sets, Azure VDI, etc. • Implement and deploy cloud solutions using Terraform pipelines, PowerShell, CLI, or other tools. • Plan and execute the migration of on-premises systems to Azure. • Optimize and troubleshoot cloud solutions for performance, scalability, security, and reliability. • Establish monitoring and management capabilities for cloud resources using Azure policies, tags, alerts, dashboards, and logs. • Plan and test disaster recovery scenarios, document DR runbooks. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other cloud engineers and developers. Job Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, management, and troubleshooting. • 5+ years of hands-on experience Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies. • Azure certifications, such as AZ-305, AZ-400, and AZ-500, are preferred. • Strong, broad knowledge of Azure services, features, and capabilities. Must have deep knowledge of Azure billing, storage options, SQL Server options, Management Groups, Subscriptions, and IAM. • Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns, principles, and best practices. • Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and regulatory compliance. • Strong knowledge of Azure networking and connectivity options, including VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and load balancing. • Hands-on experience creating, testing, and documenting DR planning. • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, VDI, Scale Sets, and load balancing. • Hands-on experience deploying cloud assets using Terraform pipelines. • Hands-on experience with administrative scripting using PowerShell or Azure CLI is highly desirable. • Hands-on experience running VMWare virtual machines in Azure is highly desirable. • Ability to either work remotely or with remote team members. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
