Job Description: The Data/BI Engineer Sr is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining cloud data pipelines for business intelligence collection and analysis. This role is crucial in managing data integration processes and visualization solutions, utilizing both technical and analytical skills to convert raw data into actionable insights. Client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data/BI Engineer Sr with expertise in AWS cloud technologies to support automation, orchestration, and ETL processes across the entire data lifecycle, including transformation, management, retention, security, performance tuning, and SLA management. The Data/BI Engineer will collaborate with data owners, technical teams, and business units to identify key metrics and insights, developing reporting and visualization solutions. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, system design, data process development, and data delivery and visualization to meet business needs. Miscellaneous Notes: This is an IT position that would be expected to be standard 8am-5pm schedule with minimal night and/or weekend work. As these are IT positions, there may be some night and weekend work but that should be limited and not the norm. Expectations is that role(s) will be for about 1 year and that client may convert them to FTE between 6 months and 1 year point of the temp assignment. Candidates must live within 50 miles of an NGS or Pulse Point office but will be fully remote until/if they are converted to FTE, at which time they will be subject to our current hybrid policy at that time.
