Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer (L3) Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite only) Type: 12+ months Contract Description: • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our team and support some of our top clients locally in the Los Angeles Metroplex. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting Linux systems, AWS, and Nutanix environments. • This role requires expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and support Nutanix environments, including Nutanix Flow, AHV, AOS, and Prism. • Create, manage, and troubleshoot Nutanix security policies and micro-segmentation. • Perform Nutanix cluster creation, expansion, and migration of workloads from VMware to Nutanix. • Administer Linux servers, including OS versions, lifecycle management, and enterprise-scale deployments. • Deploy and manage workloads on AWS and other hyperscalers (Azure, Google Cloud Platform). • Utilize Ansible/Terraform for infrastructure automation and management. • Manage storage technologies (SAN) and perform updates and firmware upgrades. • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain clear communication with leadership, colleagues, and customers. Required Skills: • Expert-level experience with Linux administration, Nutanix Flow, AHV, AOS, and Prism. • Proven experience in Linux system administration and virtualization technologies (VMware). • Hands-on experience with AWS and other hyperscalers. • Proficiency in Ansible/Terraform for automation. • Strong knowledge of storage technologies and networking fundamentals. • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
