Employees that live 50 miles or more from their permanent/principal work location and live within the State or a county bordering the State may telework more than 50% with approval. *** The Systems & Reporting Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of business-related functions associated with the Child Support Division (CSD) to support the mission and objectives of the division and delivery of high-quality child support services. These responsibilities are an integral part of a cooperative and coordinated team effort within the CSD Operations unit. This involves performing complex reporting functions for varied quarterly and annual reports on the IV-D program required by the state and federal government and helping to develop and maintain tools to support operational and project work across program lines and support all aspects of the child support program as CSD develops and improves child support program policies, procedures, and processes. These responsibilities also include reporting, tracking, and communicating across the division and DCYF, and require positive, effective, and professional communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities include: • Prepare the division’s State and Federal quarterly and annual reports that track program and financial performance. • Provide Division Operations Unit within the Child Support Division with operations support as it pertains to entering information for tracking purposes in the grant management system. • Provide technical and analytical expertise and support, expertise and consultation on the use of collaborative tools such as SharePoint (or similar document management solution), Roll Call Leave Requests, Help Desk Call Center tracking tools and record retention division processes for the management team so that their program planning, operations, and decision making can be carried out with maximum effectiveness, efficiency and service to the public. • Administer SharePoint or similar document management solution site collection for CSD and provide SharePoint expertise and support to all CSD staff and their collaborative use of the tool. • Help maintain and improve the Child Support Manual that supports county users with relevant and up to date user information and documentation on policy and guidelines for all IV-D services • Serve on Division work groups, projects or committees as assigned and Serve as a member of the Division Operations Unit and participate in official team functions to promote the smooth functioning of the team. Experience must demonstrate the following: • Knowledge of software collaboration tools (SharePoint) to provide leadership in the design, administration and implementation of such systems • Experience with data entry for sensitive data, contracts and grants • Experience providing support and assistance to various internal and external partners using Microsoft Suite, Outlook and SharePoint and other system • Experience with software such as Business Objects, Excel, and Access • Collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources for the purpose of responding to requests for data and information • Receiving and processing requests for data and information, including sensitive and/or confidential information • Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures Preferred Qualifications • Advanced experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically SharePoint or similar document solution. • Extensive technical knowledge of the state and/or federal reporting processes. • Knowledge and experience utilizing Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT). • Communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively in a team environment, and with internal and external customers.
