Position: Azure Cloud Platform Engineer (Data & Analytics Platform Team) We're hiring! Our client is building a modern enterprise data ecosystem in Azure and recently migrated to Snowflake. They're looking for a hands-on Cloud Platform Engineer to join their Data & Analytics Engineering – Platform Team. This role is NOT for someone who configures infrastructure handed off to them — we’re looking for engineers who’ve built Azure infrastructure from the ground up, preferably using Bicep or Terraform in enterprise settings. • Build and deploy Azure infrastructure (Data Factory, Storage, Key Vaults, Networking, VMs, etc.) • Automate infrastructure using IaC (Bicep/Terraform) and deploy via Azure Dev Ops pipelines • Configure and support platforms like Snowflake and Databricks • Own monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization in the Azure environment • Troubleshoot environment issues, drive root-cause analysis, and implement resilient solutions • Support cross-functional teams with scalable, secure infrastructure designs Must-Have Skills: • 7+ years in Cloud Platform Engineering • Proficient in Python, Power Shell, SQL, Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, and IaC (Bicep/Terraform) • 7+ years Dev Ops experience in Agile/Scrum environments • 5+ years leading end-to-end design and production support of cloud platforms • Strong understanding of cloud-native, security-first principles • Experience supporting Data Engineering/Application teams from the infrastructure side Please DO NOT apply if: • You only have database/ETL experience • You are a pure data engineer or pure network engineer • You’ve only worked on Azure environments built by others • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Key Vault • Admin experience with Windows/Linux servers • Azure certifications (Admin, Architect), Snow Pro, or Databricks Platform Admin • Experience with Azure cost management & forecasting Seniority level • Mid-Senior level Employment type • Contract Job function • Information Technology and Consulting Industries • IT Services and IT Consulting and IT System Data Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
