This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across our commercial organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, business intelligence tools (including Excel), commitment to learning and continuous improvement, and an understanding of commercial operations. The Business Analyst effectively works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership teams, as well as, IT and Financial Planning & Analysis teams. Requirements of the Business Analyst Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a data, reporting, or analytics-related role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query basics required). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Preferred (Nice to Have): Experience with Power BI, CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), Power Automate, SQL, Python, and data warehouse environments. Exposure to commercial operations, sales analytics, or marketing analytics functions. Experience with process improvement, workflow automation, or reporting optimization projects. Experience applying basic statistical concepts (e.g. trend analysis, forecasting, regression analysis) to business data Responsibilities of the Business Analyst The specific duties of the Business Analyst include but are not limited to: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Medical Affairs) to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor commercial performance and market trends.. Analyze sales, customer, and market data to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and optimization. Support forecasting, territory alignment, and incentive compensation planning with data-driven insights. Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and scalability of BI solutions.. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.. Assist in the implementation of advanced analytics tools such as Power BI and SQL-based reporting solutions. Support CRM data integrity through account maintenance, contact updates, event list processing, and entry of web form submissions, with growing ownership as system proficiency develops.
