Job Title: Microsoft Azure Security Assessment Consultant Location: Denver, CO Duration: 12 Months Job Description: The Microsoft Azure Security Assessment Consultant position will be working with the Business Technologies Information Security Team to conduct a comprehensive security assessment of our Microsoft Azure environment, identifying security gaps, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance the overall security posture, governance, and compliance. Roles and Responsibilities The consultant will perform the following activities: Evaluate Architecture o Review DEN's Azure cloud architecture to identify potential security design flaws. o Assess alignment with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework, NIST CSF, and Zero Trust principles. Recommend Azure Security Policies o Recommend security baselines and Azure Policy definitions for security hardening. o Identify and suggest policy initiatives (built-in and custom).
