Job description

This role is contingent with federal contracting personnel and supports federal IT operations. The contractor will provide Microsoft Defender for Endpoint support services in alignment with GPO SOC operations. Responsibilities include preparing Task Order Management Plans, cost analyses, project schedules, and risk mitigation strategies. The role includes: - Deploying DfE agents to Microsoft-supported endpoints via Intune or AD GPO. - Identifying target endpoint machines, OS versions, and optimizing deployment methods. - Authoring DfE deployment scripts (including legacy EDR/AV uninstallation). - Designing support infrastructure for mass deployments (e.g. storage accounts, authorization). - Testing and validating deployment scripts. - Deploying agents to meet scoped threshold percentages. - Verifying onboarding and reporting accuracy. - Ensuring configurations follow best practices. Required qualifications: - 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in Microsoft GCC or GCC‑H environments. - Proficiency scripting deployment (e.g., PowerShell). - Integration experience with Defender and SIEM/SOAR systems (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel). - Strong documentation and incident reporting skills.
