We are seeking a Power BI / Power Platform Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize solutions that enable automation, streamline workflows, and deliver actionable insights. Leveraging Microsoft's Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint), this role will partner closely with business and technical teams to enhance decision-making and improve productivity. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with business acumen to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint. • Develop data models, dashboards, and reporting tools in Power BI to deliver meaningful insights. • Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources, ensuring seamless connectivity and accurate data. • Develop and enhance SharePoint workflows, lists, and sites to improve business processes. • Create and optimize automated workflows with Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows). • Extend Power Platform capabilities using scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, improve reporting, and train users on new solutions. • Ensure solutions are designed for scalability, security, and ease of use. Qualifications (Must Haves) • 3-5 years of software experience in designing, programming, debugging, and enhancing applications. • 2-3 years of hands-on Power BI development experience. • 1-2 years of experience with Power Apps and Power Automate. • Experience with data modeling, transformations, and DAX. • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (or equivalent knowledge). Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) • Advanced Power Platform certifications (e.g., Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Power Platform Developer Associate, Power Automate RPA Developer Associate). • Experience with data preparation (Power Query), integration of on-prem and cloud sources. • Knowledge of row-level security (RLS) and Power BI workspace/dataset management. • Solid SQL skills for data extraction and analysis. • Strong visualization skills and ability to create clear, impactful dashboards. • Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations in Power Automate.
