Looking to hire ASAP!!! Contract to Perm or FT hire Cloud Engineer position for a client based on of Lower Manhattan. Position is hybrid (2days onsite/3 WFH). The most important quality of candidate will be someone who is a curious, driven self-starter who always goes the distance to get the job done with exceptional customer service in DNA. You're an Azure certified with at least 4+ strong years of building, upgrading, supporting and managing Azure Cloud Infrastructure with minimum of 1000 concurrent clients. You have strong Active Directory experience. You will be joining a bright 15 member close-knit infrastructure team that handles multi city environment. Culture is calm, relaxed and supportive. Qualifications • 4+ years of industry experience as a cloud Azure Engineer • 4+ years of experience working with Kubernetes and Terraform • Deep understanding of Azure components and be well versed with the Azure well architected framework and can apply those principles while designing a solution • Good communication skills with the ability to work with fluid requirements and shape them in collaboration with other team members • Experience with Active Directory • Experience with a strongly typed language (e.g., Rust) • Legal Service industry experience a plus • Knowledge of Datadog and other Telemetry tooling • You thrive in fast-paced environments • You have fun solving problems that others think are impossible • You are curious • You find joy in learning about AI and technology • You are collaborative, organized, and thoughtful Responsibilities • As a Cloud Engineer you will help build out our Microsoft Azure infrastructure • Design and Implement Azure Cloud Architectures: Develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud systems using Azure, Kubernetes, and AI technologies • Collaborate closely with the PM, CIO and VP of Infrastructure to manage and optimize the speed and resiliency of the environment • Deploy and Manage Azure Solutions: Lead the deployment and ongoing support of client's platform • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of services • Ensure Security and Compliance: Design and implement robust security measures to protect sensitive financial data • Work closely with the security team to achieve compliance with industry standards and best practices, ensuring a secure environment for Gen AI applications • Develop High-Quality Code: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code • Focus on building systems that are resilient and scalable, adhering to best practices in software development • Foster Innovation and Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in code quality, system performance, and development processes • Encourage a culture of innovation and collaboration, mentoring peers and contributing to the growth of the engineering team Please reply with updated resume and hourly pay range/annual salary requirements.
