We are hiring DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline Specialist for a Contract position in salt lake city, UT Position Overview: Seeking an experienced DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline Specialist to join on-site team in Salt Lake City. This role is critical in supporting our infrastructure automation, continuous integration, and deployment efforts. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with strong scripting skills with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, Ansible and Python, and a passion for building efficient, scalable, and secure systems. Experience in the fintech industry is highly desirable and will be a strong differentiator. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support application development and deployment lifecycles Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration Write custom scripts and tooling in Python supporting build/deploy automation, monitoring, and systems integration Collaborate with development, QA, and IT operations teams to improve reliability and efficiency across the IT enterprise Implement IaC best practices and ensure repeatable and auditable infrastructure deployments Monitor and troubleshoot systems and deployment pipelines for performance, availability, and stability Support compliance and security standards in all automation and DevOps practices Participate in on-call rotation as needed for incident response and resolution Required Skills & Qualifications: 3 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience Strong scripting skills in Ansible and Python Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a fintech or financial services environment Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS) Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
