Senior Solutions Architect The Senior Solutions Architect will play a pivotal, hands-on role in transforming business needs into technical solutions. This position blends the responsibilities of both a Business Systems Analyst and a Solution Architect, emphasizing clarity in requirements gathering, technical documentation, and guiding development teams through the implementation process. You will be the key liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical developers. Your primary objective is to ensure that solutions are not only aligned with business needs but are also scalable, compliant, and meet enterprise standards. Your contributions will drive efficient development, modernization, and migration efforts as we continue to evolve and support our clients. This position is in-house and on-site so candidates must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to be eligible. Key Responsibilities: • Gather and Clarify Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and subject matter experts to extract, analyze, and document detailed technical and business requirements. Lead workshops, interviews, and review sessions to ensure all requirements are clearly understood and comprehensive. • Develop Technical Documentation: Create detailed, clear documentation, including user stories, process flows, data models, interface specifications, and technical designs, that developers can use as a foundation for building solutions. • Design and Validate Solutions: Convert complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions. Work closely with Solution Architects and Platform Engineers to ensure designs align with organizational architecture and best practices. • Bridge Communication: Serve as the primary conduit between business teams and technical personnel, ensuring mutual understanding of requirements and that solutions are feasible, testable, and aligned with business goals. • Support Development and Testing: Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure that requirements are correctly implemented, testable, and align with project objectives. Review prototypes and designs to ensure they meet specifications. • Identify Gaps and Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify any gaps, ambiguities, or risks in the requirements early on and work with stakeholders to mitigate these issues. • Ensure Compliance and Standards: Integrate security, privacy (PHI/PII), and regulatory requirements into all technical specifications and design documents. • Assist with Migrations and Transitions: Support the planning and execution of client migrations to new platforms, ensuring the requirements are well-defined and the solutions are scalable. • Promote Technical Best Practices: Champion the adoption of standardized practices for requirements management, documentation, and technical governance across teams. • Drive Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance the solution design and requirements gathering process. Qualifications & Experience: • 7+ years of experience in roles involving requirements analysis, systems analysis, solution design, or solution architecture. • Demonstrated expertise in gathering and translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications. • In-depth understanding of SDLC, agile practices, DevOps, and cloud architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure). • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance teams, product managers, and business stakeholders. • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Familiarity with project management and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, X-Ray, and other requirements management platforms. • Solid knowledge of security, compliance (e.g., PHI/PII), and enterprise architecture standards. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in industries like print/media, digital platforms, or customer communication solutions. • Familiarity with AI-powered documentation, testing, or automation tools. • Proven experience leading workshops and designing scalable solutions for large enterprise environments.
