Job Description: We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of business-critical applications and server infrastructure in a high-availability manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring system stability and performance across Windows and Linux platforms, both on-prem and in the cloud. Key Responsibilities: System Administration & Maintenance: • Manage and maintain Windows servers and Linux systems. • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and patch systems and applications. • Monitor performance and system health using tools like SolarWinds. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: • Provide Tier II support for IT and operations-related issues. • Perform basic network troubleshooting. • Support remote users and act as the Remote Site Coordinator for the location. Collaboration & Coordination: • Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and implement changes. • Coordinate system changes and upgrades in alignment with plant operations and schedules. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: • Maintain accurate and clear documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures. Customer Service & Communication: • Understand business processes and system dependencies to provide responsive support. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and vendors. After-Hours Support & Projects: • Participate in on-call rotation and support small-scale IT projects and process improvements. Required Qualifications: • Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server administration (patching, configuration, troubleshooting). • Understanding of basic networking concepts. • Familiar with Linux systems. • Experience using monitoring tools. Preferred Skills: • Experience with VMware, AWS, Azure, SCCM, PowerShell scripting, and Microsoft 365 environment.
