Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Data Engineering technologies, particularly Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Python, and will play a critical role in executing the client s cloud strategy. Key Responsibilities: • Execute and drive the client s Azure Cloud strategy with a focus on data engineering initiatives. • Design and architect end-to-end cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. • Develop and implement Azure-native solutions leveraging ADF, Databricks, and Python. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs and roadmaps. • Ensure cloud infrastructure is resilient, secure, and optimized for cost and performance. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams, aligning with Azure best practices. • Maintain deep knowledge of evolving Azure services and recommend innovative cloud solutions. • Drive continuous improvement of architecture, performance, and operational processes within the cloud ecosystem. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect, with a strong focus on data engineering. • Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Python. • Solid understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture frameworks, and DevOps practices. • Experience in translating complex business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions. • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly preferred.
