Job Overview Were looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Team Lead with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices. This role requires someone with at least 8 years of hands-on DevOps experience and 3+ years leading or managing DevOps teams. Youll be responsible for guiding a team of engineers, owning DevOps strategy and execution, and driving the evolution of our Azure-based delivery pipeline and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing mentorship, setting priorities, and driving execution. • Architect and manage Azure infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM). • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services. • Oversee source control and branching strategies using Git and Azure Repos. • Drive adoption of automation, monitoring, and deployment best practices across engineering teams. • Collaborate with software development, QA, and IT teams to streamline release management. • Ensure cloud environments meet performance, availability, and security standards. • Manage secrets, certificates, and access control across Azure services. • Own incident response and root cause analysis for deployment and infrastructure issues. • Champion DevOps culture and foster continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications Must-Have: • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation roles. • 3+ years in a leadership or management role within a DevOps team. • Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services. • Strong experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts). • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python). • Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred). • Solid grasp of cloud networking, security, IAM, and monitoring. Nice-to-Have: • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare). • Familiarity with observability tools like Azure Monitor, App Insights, or third-party APMs. • Agile/Scrum experience and use of Jira or equivalent tools.
