Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect – InfoSec 📍 Location: Binley, Coventry (Hybrid Working) About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Architect – InfoSec to join our Architecture team. This is a critical and high-impact role focused on shaping security architecture within our enterprise, working on products and platforms with strategic significance. You will be part of a small, expert team of security architects, guiding and influencing security-related decisions across multiple portfolios. Acting as a key contributor to the Enterprise Solution Delivery (ESD), you’ll ensure that security is embedded within our agile delivery pipelines and architectural governance. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to shape Epics and Capabilities from a security perspective. • Lead the InfoSec aspects of solution design across product teams and programmes. • Define security-related Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs). • Support development and prioritisation of architectural enablers and runways. • Partner with engineering teams and suppliers to deliver secure-by-design solutions. • Contribute to solution vision, roadmap and backlog, and align with delivery streams. • Facilitate Pre- and Post-PI planning events and Agile Release Train (ART) workshops. • Champion continuous improvement and built-in quality practices within delivery. • Define and maintain content within the Solution Intent repository for InfoSec. Essential Skills and Experience • Professional accreditation such as CISSP, SABSA, or equivalent. • Proven experience as a security architect in a SAFe or agile product environment. • Deep knowledge of security risk identification, mitigation, and regulatory compliance (DPA 2018, GDPR, PCI DSS). • Understanding of threat models, TTPs, and attack surfaces relevant to UK financial services. • Hands-on experience in designing and delivering secure platforms and services. • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture principles. Highly Desirable Skills • Public cloud security architecture – preferably AWS (Azure is a plus). • Database and enterprise IAM security design experience. • Exposure to tools like SIEM, EDR, CASB, VPNs, Secrets Management, Pen Testing. • Understanding of modern software development practices (CI/CD, version control). • Operational IT security experience. About You • Strong communicator – confident working with technical and business stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with solid planning, analytical, and decision-making skills. • Adept at building relationships in a collaborative, matrixed environment. • Enthusiastic about continuous learning, improvement, and technical leadership. Qualifications • Educated to degree level or equivalent. • Significant hands-on security architecture experience in complex enterprise environments. • A proven track record in a senior technical leadership or architecture role.
