Position Summary: The Network Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, security, and ongoing support of network and server infrastructure across the organization. This includes system monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, and technical support for both internal systems and trading floor operations. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and monitor all network, server, and telecommunications systems. • Implement and manage system and network security controls (firewalls, antivirus, backups). • Respond to service outages, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and apply system updates. • Support user accounts, permissions, and access control across domains and applications. • Lead or participate in IT infrastructure projects and upgrades. • Develop and maintain technical documentation and system configuration records. • Interface with internal departments, vendors, and external support teams. • Contribute to IT policy development, compliance, and disaster recovery documentation. Technical Environment: • Microsoft Server OS (2012–2019+), Active Directory, SQL, DNS/DHCP, SCCM, SCOM • Cisco networking (routers, switches, ASA), Palo Alto Firewalls, Fortinet • VMware, VEEAM, NetApp, Nutanix, Data Domain, CA UDP • Telephony: Cisco UCS/CallManager, IPC Unigy • Trading systems: Bloomberg, Refinitiv (Eikon, TREP), EBS • Security tools: McAfee, Ivanti, Zscaler, Cisco ISE • VDI and mobile device support (iOS/Android) Qualifications: • Minimum 10 years of experience in network/system administration. • Bachelor's degree required; MCSE or equivalent certification preferred. • Strong technical knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and enterprise IT systems. • Proven ability to manage infrastructure projects and troubleshoot complex issues. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
