The Role: This role will lead the data acquisition operations business, driving innovation through automation and AI while ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role, situated in Operations, will oversee the data acquisition teams and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes, improve data quality, and support RDM’s broader strategic objectives. Preference for candidates located in Washington, Idaho, or Oregon. Role Responsibilities: • Drive improvements in data acquisition processes and technologies, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and scalability—leveraging AI and automation where applicable. • Manage and develop the manual data entry, mail room operations and electronic data acquisition teams, setting clear performance objectives and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction with data operations. • Collaborate closely with the Product, Data, and Innovation (PDI) and Digital teams to prioritize the strategic roadmap to drive efficiency and innovation in data operations. • Enhance operational systems, workflows, and policies to support the data operations strategic goals—specifically around business process transformation, reporting, and organizational planning. • Partner with offshore operations leaders to ensure effective coordination, quality standards, and optimization of global data acquisition activities. • Work with business SMEs to conduct data quality audits, define and monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in data accuracy and reliability. • Act as a liaison between Client Management, Sales, and Operations, ensuring that evolving client requirements and feedback are translated into actionable plans for the data acquisition teams. • Mentor and develop team managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the delivery teams. • Contribute to the data operationsspecific business continuity and disaster recovery planning efforts as part of the enterprise-wide risk management framework. Experience and Education: • Bachelor's Degree required in one of the following fields; Operations, Business, Technology or a related field. • Master’s Degree preferred in one of the following fields; Operations, Business, Technology or a related field. • 7+ years relevant experience with da ta acquisition, data management, or operations within financial services, data processing, or a related industry • 3+ years of people leadership experience; e xperience leading global teams is preferred • Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Digital) on strategic initiatives • Proven experience driving operational efficiency and implementing automation or AI Skills and Abilities: • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products • Familiarity with systems; Salesforce, ADP, and other internal transversal process systems • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making. • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading operational teams responsible for data processing. • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance in financial data acquisition (e.g., SEC, FINRA, GDPR). • Proven track record in managing both manual data entry teams and automated data acquisition processes. • Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions, ETL pipelines, APIs, and OCR technologies. The target pay range for this role is $97,000-$139,150. Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
