About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of a modern, cloud-native platform that replaces legacy SharePoint functionality. This role is ideal for someone with deep Azure expertise and a passion for building scalable, secure, and intelligent enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities 🧱 Solution Architecture & Design • Design modular, scalable, and cloud-native architectures using Azure services. • Replace legacy SharePoint features with custom-built, role-based web applications. • Ensure a seamless and unified experience for audit teams, clients, and knowledge users. ☁️ Azure Platform Expertise • Leverage Azure App Services, Functions, AD (SSO), Front Door, and API Management. • Integrate AI capabilities using Azure Cognitive Services and OpenAI (or Hugging Face). • Implement real-time event handling with Azure Event Grid or Service Bus. 📊 Data & Content Management • Architect solutions for structured (PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB) and unstructured data (Azure Blob). • Enable metadata search via Azure Cognitive Search. • Lead migration strategy from legacy SharePoint to modern formats. 🔗 Integration & Interoperability • Enable integration with internal systems (audit tools, portals, knowledge bases) and external data feeds. • Define secure APIs and connectors for data exchange. 🔐 Security & Governance • Implement enterprise-grade identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC). • Ensure compliance with data protection, auditing, and regulatory standards. 🚀 Scalability & Performance • Design for high availability and elastic scaling. • Utilize CDN, caching, and event-driven architecture for optimal performance. 🎨 User Experience & Collaboration • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver a modern, intuitive interface. • Guide personalization, content targeting, and notification strategies. 🔧 DevOps & Delivery • Define DevSecOps practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • Lead CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform), and environment monitoring. 🏗️ Legacy Modernization • Plan phased decommissioning of SharePoint. • Define strategies for data migration, content transformation, and user retraining.
