Job Title : OT Disaster Recovery Specialist Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite) We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • Formal training or certifications in disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity, with a focus on OT resiliency. Preferably with applied experience in a government entity. • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the Operational Technology Security or Cybersecurity field, including at least two (2) years in disaster recovery planning. • At least two (2) years of experience in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans, conducting risk assessments, and managing IT infrastructure. • Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST 800, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, and CIS Controls for ICS. • Strong understanding of OT/IT infrastructure, including data management, cloud technologies, and system interdependencies. • Experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, particularly for OT systems. • Expertise in risk management and disaster recovery best practices, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies. • Experience with disaster recovery software and tools such as Veeam and proficiency in IT security measures. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information across all levels of the organization. Certifications: The candidate must possess at least one of the following cybersecurity certifications: • Security+ • CISM • CISSP • LPT • CISA • CRISC • ISO 27001 Relevant security certifications from software or hardware vendors (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet). Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans specific to OT systems, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime during crises. • Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in OT systems and devise mitigation strategies. • Implement disaster recovery solutions for OT systems, including data backup systems, emergency communication tools, and alternative operational setups. • Collaborate with IT and OT teams to integrate disaster recovery plans with overall business continuity objectives. • Organize and conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans for OT systems. • Regularly update and maintain disaster recovery plans to reflect changes in OT systems and evolving risks. • Provide training to staff on disaster recovery procedures to ensure awareness and readiness during emergencies. • Develop and conduct awareness programs to educate employees and stakeholders on OT disaster preparedness and response protocols. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with client departments, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders for coordinated disaster response. • Act as a key point of contact during emergencies, facilitating the execution of disaster recovery plans and coordinating response efforts for OT systems. • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to OT disaster recovery planning. • Provide regular updates to management regarding disaster recovery plans, potential risks, and recommended improvements.
