Job Description: This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost. A successful Infrastructure Delivery Manager (IDM) takes the time to understand what is driving their project, why this project needs to happen, and by when the project needs to be completed. They establish realistic timelines and get commitment from the key project team members on the delivery timelines. They ask questions when they don't understand. They research the basics of unfamiliar technology to broaden their technical acumen. They actively facilitate technical discussions with the project team. A successful IDM can communicate to management a technical issues that is impeding their project and what actions and who is taking those actions to resolve the issue. They also can quickly adapt to what impact this issue has on the project timeline and make recommendations if the timeline needs to be adjusted. Successful IDMs also have detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with dependencies, ownership, and committed task durations. They keep this WBS current and frequently review the WBS with the project team validating commitment and they publish meeting minutes and capture action items from the meeting. Responsibilities: • Identify and understand who are projects stakeholders • Build collaborative relationships with the TI resources and application resources assigned to your project;develop trusted relationships to keep a positive momentum regardless of timeline constraints and other challenges • Establish meetings at the appropriate frequency to review TI scope of work progress and remaining tasks • Ensure project objectives and goals are clearly understood to minimize scope creep and to ensure the delivered infrastructure solution meets the goals and objectives • Understand what the application teams release timelines are in order to know when they need to begin testing and validating so that the required infrastructure can be delivered prior to that date; negotiate delivery date of infrastructure environments, particularly if application team timelines are aggressive • Ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost • Maintain a WBS (Project Plan) to track tasks, dates and dependencies • Understand how planned and unplanned change control windows will impact project timeline, then determine if changes should be escalated for approvals to proceed or if they should be rescheduled • Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery • Identify issues and risks and understand how they will impact project deliverables and due dates • Understand TI strategies to help facilitate design discussions and to keep current with Enterprise standard practices, processes and policies.(Example:Cloud, DBaaS, data center strategy, End of Life Technologies, etc...) • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.) • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined project deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams • Communicate work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards Required Qualifications: • 7years plus experience in Infrastructure project management. • Ability to facilitate and manage multiple infrastructure projects • proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Microsoft Project • Ability to understand your project's overall purpose and the overall scope of work; know why the project is being done and what the work will solve • Enjoys working with multiple technical, operations and business partners • Ability to multi-task, as well as being flexible to assist team members as needed • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for all levels in the organization • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to lead complex projects and / or programs Desired Qualifications: • Midrange server and/or network infrastructure project delivery experience • Experience with Jira in management of projects through Deliverables/Epics/Stories and cross dependencies management • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodology environments Skills: • Collaboration • Project Management • Result Orientation • Solution Delivery Process • Stakeholder Management • Analytical Thinking • Business Acumen • Financial Management • Influence • Risk Management • Technical Strategy Development Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40
