You must be present for in-person interview in Fort Worth, TX. As the DevOps Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Release Engineering and infrastructure management practices. This position demands a mix of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for operational excellence in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with teams across Operations, Production Engineering, App & Infra Security, Test, and Development to design and implement comprehensive end-to-end solutions. Your role is crucial in simplifying and enhancing our build and delivery systems, making them more reliable, scalable, and efficient. You will be at the forefront of adopting new technologies, optimizing configuration management, and automating processes. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement robust continuous build and deployment mechanisms using innovative programmatic solutions and automation. • Drive the automation of tasks for streamlined deployment and delivery processes. • Identify, address, and streamline tools and processes for build and deployment challenges. • Develop, maintain, and update documentation and diagrams outlining automated solutions and infrastructure architecture. • Lead the integration and deployment of complex applications across diverse platforms including AWS, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components. • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of applications, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of software releases. • Automation: Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline manual processes, reducing manual intervention and increasing efficiency. • Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure. • Security: Collaborate with the security team to implement and enhance security best practices throughout the development and deployment process, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and compliance with industry standards. • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to foster a culture of collaboration and communication, facilitating the smooth flow of code from development through to production. • Troubleshooting: Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and overall system performance. • Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis to ensure that systems can handle current and future load requirements. Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field. • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure Development/Administration/Release/Deployment/Application Engineering. • 3+ years in developing and automating solutions in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and infrastructure automation. • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code, and experience with Chef/CloudFormation is good to have. • Strong experience in Cloud technologies, particularly AWS. • In-depth knowledge of DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps and processes. • Comprehensive understanding of IT Security and related audits. • Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Ruby, Python, PowerShell. • Solid experience in Linux/Windows administration and shell scripting. • Experience with Trunk Branching methodologies and best practices • Familiarity with the build and deployment process for JavaScript, .Net Core, Java (Maven), and Python
