Responsibilities - Operational Leadership - Responsible for day-to-day IT operations across all sites, ensuring systems reliability, availability, and performance. - Standardize and continuously improve processes for endpoint management, ticketing workflows, and service delivery. - Responsible for IT support for new clinic openings, acquisitions, and expansions. - Technical Oversight - Manage and support infrastructure across key domains: - Desktop/End-User Devices: Imaging, deployment, endpoint protection, and lifecycle management. - Servers: On-premise and hybrid (Windows Server, Active Directory, file/print, DHCP/DNS). - Cloud Services: Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SaaS platform integrations. - Networking: LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, switching, and wireless. - Telephony: VoIP systems administration, call routing, and contact center technologies. - Lead infrastructure upgrades, security patching, monitoring, and disaster recovery exercises. - Vendor Management - Manage third-party vendors, including MSPs, telecom providers, EHR vendors, and hardware suppliers. - Define SLAs, monitor vendor performance, and ensure contract compliance and cost optimization. - Serve as primary escalation point for vendor-supported systems and services. - Stakeholder Communication - Serve as the key liaison between IT and clinical/administrative stakeholders. - Translate operational needs into technical solutions and communicate status, risks, and timelines clearly. - Provide regular updates and performance metrics to senior leadership and departmental leaders. - Cybersecurity & Compliance - Enforce information security protocols aligned with HIPAA, HITECH, and organizational policy. - Support audits, access control reviews, and incident response processes in coordination with security/compliance teams. - Team & Project Management - Lead a distributed team of IT support specialists and system administrators. - Define goals, manage priorities, and conduct regular performance reviews and coaching. - Execute IT projects from planning through implementation and post-deployment support. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, MCSA, Cisco, Azure) preferred. - 7+ years of IT infrastructure and operations experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role. - Prior experience in multi-site outpatient healthcare is strongly preferred. - Experience managing EMR platforms, imaging systems, and healthcare IT vendors. - Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Office 365, cloud platforms, network architecture, and VoIP systems. - Familiar with HIPAA compliance, change management, and IT operational best practices. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and lead both internal and vendor teams. - Problem-solving mindset with a focus on reliability, scalability, and service excellence.
