Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Systems Administrator for our Columbus, OH location. Responsibilities • Accountable for ensuring Microsoft Windows patching for laptops, desktops and workstations using SCCM or Configuration Manager. • Responsible for contributing input to system designs and implementations with a dedicated focus • Responsible for maintaining warehouse barcode readers and scanners. • Responsible for printers, print systems, and printer servers. • Collaborates with the IT Operations team to vigilantly monitor security vulnerabilities. • Documents, handles, or escalates cybersecurity alerts and events according to department protocol and procedures, executing established technical process workflows • Configures systems to monitor for indicators of cybersecurity events/compromise Qualifications • 4 years of Systems Administration experience • Basic level understanding of Cyber Security Operations, including monitoring, detection, incident response, and forensics • A+, Networking+ and/or Secuity+ Certifications • Intermediate understanding of networking, internet protocols, and OSI layer models (VLANs knowledge preferred) • The ability to work outside of normal business hours Additional Information This is a hybrid position, located in Columbus, OH.
