About the role: KPMG is seeking a Manager, Information Security Innovation Engineer to join our Global Technology & Knowledge Group, part of KPMG International. This role involves leading automation initiatives within our Security Operations Center and collaborating with various teams and vendors to enhance our security processes and technologies. Responsibilities include: • Driving continuous improvement of GSOC processes and technology through automation. • Supporting the Innovation Lead and coordinating with teams, stakeholders, and vendors on technical projects. • Managing and supporting GSOC technologies across multiple environments, including Data Centers, Azure cloud, and O365. • Monitoring systems, resolving issues, and maintaining documentation of system designs and updates. • Coordinating and delivering user training and training materials. Qualifications: • At least five years of recent experience automating security workflows with scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or Bash. • Minimum three years of experience with query languages like KQL and working as a Security Engineer or in a SOC environment. • Bachelor's degree in information security or related field, or equivalent work experience. • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer. • Experience with threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, automation, and Azure Security technologies. • Strong scripting and development skills, deep understanding of incident response and threat detection, and experience with Dev Ops tools. • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
