Job Summary Job Summary Microsoft Exchange Systems Administrator focuses on managing and maintaining the organization's Exchange email server environment and on-premises and cloud messaging services. These services include, but are not limited to, Exchange/Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, Mimecast, and Slack. Role Description • Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange on-premises and online/cloud (Azure) environment • Configure user accounts, mailboxes, distribution groups, and security settings • Troubleshoot and remedy Exchange incidents • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate daily task • Assist in the management of server infrastructure • Manage mail-related systems and tools • Troubleshooting incoming and outbound messages • Monitor the performance of the Exchange environment • Providing end-user support and troubleshooting • Manage Mimecast journaling and Mimecast security • Respond to critical email issues (off hours) • Interact with other teams to assist in troubleshooting Behaviors and Competencies Problem-Solving: Can identify problems, propose solutions, and take action to resolve them without explicit instructions. Skill Level Requirements • 5+ years administering Exchange on premises and Exchange Online • Experience administering Exchange Hybrid environment • Experience in configuring and managing email clients such as Outlook • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Mimecast, and Slack • Experience with DMARC compliance and implementation • Understanding of SMTP concepts and IIS • Understanding of Exchange on-premises and/or Exchange Online mail flow • Proficiency in developing MS Exchange scripts for administration tasks, PowerShell scripting The estimated annual pay range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
