We hire the best and the brightest from across the country constructing a team of experts in architecture, design, engineering, project management, and business services.A DAY IN THE LIFE:Present data to business users to help them make better and more informed decisionsPartner closely with business users to discover information needs: data, reports, and analysesHave a general understanding of the construction industry and how data can be leveraged to improve processesTranslate business questions into reporting/analytical requirements , preferably MVP.Coordinate with IT team to maintain data warehouse applications and packages across active environments Validate and reconcile data across all relevant systems Responsible for feature delivery in the data warehouses and communication with the functional FP&A, ARCO cohort specific FP&A and accounting teams as applicable Work directly with Data & Analytics Center of excellence team to make sure systems are functioning in accordance with financial requirements and SLAs Maintain key processes used to support the consolidation and financial reporting for the business Document current processes and controls, new system requirements and the creation of applicable testing scenarios for enhancements and system updates Lead integrations and perform validations from source systems and ensure data flows downstream as the need arises. Implement policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and efficiency of the systems, department and Company Conduct business impact assessments Liaise with internal ARCOs functional team and business partners to resolve issues and prioritize systems fixes/improvements with the Finance & Accounting processes.NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in business, finance, or an equivalent programStrong understanding of cost accounting2-5 years of experience in data analysis using common reporting toolsAdvanced Excel experience (pivot table, v-lookups)Construction industry experience is considered a plusExperience with SQL, SQL Server Management Studio is considered a plusExperience working with Microsoft PowerBI or similar analytics platformDesire to learn and develop Business Intelligence data visualization skills (may include DAX syntax)Experience navigating a highly matrixed environment to achieve department goal.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Broad knowledge of data warehousing concepts such as data modelling, star schemas, and ETL.Ability to thrive in an agile team environment.Proven ability to effectively communicate with associates of all levels of the organization.
