Position: Manager, Information Security Innovation Engineer (Automation and Innovation) Location: City of Rochester Manager, Information Security Innovation Engineer (Automation and Innovation) Join to apply for the Manager, Information Security Innovation Engineer (Automation and Innovation) role at KPMG US. KPMG is seeking a Manager, Information Security Innovation Engineer to join our Global Technology & Knowledge Group. This role involves leading automation initiatives in the Security Operations Center (GSOC), supporting technical projects, managing security technologies across various environments, and providing training. Responsibilities: • Improve GSOC processes and technology through automation • Coordinate with teams, stakeholders, and vendors on technical projects • Manage and support GSOC technologies in data centers, Azure cloud, and O365 • Monitor systems, resolve issues, and maintain documentation • Deliver user training and develop training materials Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years automating security workflows with scripting languages (Python, Power Shell, Bash) • Minimum 3 years experience with query languages like KQL and working in a Security Engineer or SOC environment • Bachelor's degree in information security or related field • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer preferred • Experience with threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, Azure Security technologies, and scripting languages • Knowledge of incident response, threat detection, Dev Ops tools, and practices • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship KPMG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, health plans, 401(k), and well-being benefits.
