Description The NISC IV program at Leidos is on the lookout for a talented Full Stack Application Developer to enhance our team and create cutting-edge, scalable applications. Ideal candidates will utilize Power Apps, Appian, and robust data structure principles to build intelligent enterprise-grade applications. Your expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform and Appian BPM will be vital, as well as your solid foundation in computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms. Primary Responsibilities: • Develop and design scalable applications leveraging Power Apps and Appian technologies. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and document project requirements. • Optimize backend logic, APIs, and data models for performance and efficiency. • Employ effective data structures and algorithms to enhance the overall application performance. • Integrate a variety of third-party systems and enterprise databases seamlessly. • Conduct thorough unit testing and engage in peer code reviews. • Ensure comprehensive documentation and adherence to industry-standard software development practices. Basic Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience. Additional years of experience may substitute for educational requirements. • At least 3 years of comprehensive experience in full stack development. • Proficiency in Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven applications. • Experience with Appian development and workflow implementations. • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. • Competence in JavaScript, C#, SQL, and RESTful APIs. • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: • Appian Certified Developer or certifications in Microsoft Power Platform. • Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Awareness of security best practices in application development.
