ARS is seeking a full-time System Administrator. The System Administrator’s primary function will be to perform to install software in windows and Linux virtual machines, run security scans, build and deploy salt stack packages, managing the Azure cloud APIs, manages Kubernetes deployments and operations. Responsibilities include: • Construct, test and install Salt Stack packages • Construct Microsoft Windows and Linux virtual machine images that meet STIG requirements • Manage Azure Application Gateway, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Machines • Manage Azure Kubernetes Service and deployments • Ensure all system deliverables meet the requirements of DOD and USAF cybersecurity • Ensure cybersecurity documentation is completed IAW DOD and USAF policy • Participate as a key member of the DevSecOps / Cloud Services team • Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Technical experience required: • Must be a US citizen • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows and Linux system administration • 5+ years of cybersecurity related work experience • Security+ certification or other DODD 8570 IAM Level II Certification • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Behaviors • Innovative: Consistently introduces new ideas and demonstrates original thinking • Team Player: Must be able to work as part of a small, fast moving team • Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or related field All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
