Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Active Directory and Identity Management Expert to join our team for an exciting long-term contract with one of our esteemed clients, based in Los Angeles CA. Active Directory and Identity Management Expert Los Angeles CA Contract • Experience & Expertise: Requires 8-10 years of experience in Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (Azure AD) management, including 3-5 years in a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of core Windows Server infrastructure, including ADFS, ADCS, DNS, PKI, and IAM principles, specifically managing complex, multi-forest AD environments. • Core Technical Responsibilities: The role involves end-to-end administration and support for the AD environment, including managing Domain Controllers, forests, trusts, GPOs, Sites & Services, and replication. Key tasks include maintaining SYSVOL, Global Catalogue, FSMO roles, and implementing robust AD backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures, as well as configuring and managing PKI. • Automation & Project Leadership: Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation is mandatory. The candidate will be expected to lead domain migrations and consolidation projects, ensure security hardening and vulnerability management of domain controllers, and manage storage access control (e.g., Azure Storage). • Soft Skills & Preferred Qualifications: Requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills, alongside a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset for managing critical incidents. Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, and ITIL Foundation Certification. #INDUS Job Type: Contract Work Location: In person
