Job Title: Network and Computer Systems Administrators, JourneymanLocation: Kirtland AFB, NMClearance: TS with SSBI and eligible for SCI Inalab Consulting has contingent opening for a Journeyman-Level Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support the Air Force at Kirtland AFB, NM. The position will be located on-site at Kirtland AFB, NM, and will provide network and system administration for local tenant network infrastructure and systems. Responsibilities: Perform Systems Administration duties such as:Installing and configuring software and hardwareManaging network servers and technology toolsSetting up accounts, workstations and serversMonitor performance and maintain systems according to requirementsTroubleshoot issues and outages under the guidance of the Government IT LeadEnsure security through access controls, auditing and firewallsParticipate in upgrading systems with new releases and modelsHelp to specify system requirements and design solutionsResearch and make recommendations on server system administrationDevelop expertise to train staff on new technologies as they emerge Qualifications:Working knowledge of layer 2 and 3 network principlesKnowledge of PowerShell and WMIArcServe backup software support and configurationExperience with maintaining on-site server hardware & softwareExperience configuring and implementing Windows Deployment Services (WDS)Experience working with Active DirectoryKnowledge of Cisco IOS commands to configure network equipment and troubleshoot issuesSound knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, and related technologies2+ Years working in a TS processing environmentMinimum DoD 8140 IAT-II (Sec+ CE) certification requiredDesired Certifications:Windows Operating System Certifications (MCSA, MCSE, etc.)VMware VCP (Data Center Virtualization, Network Virtualization, etc.)CCNA Required Skills and Capabilities: Knowledge of Microsoft server administration, network equipment and ability to manage equipment performance for geographically distributed equipment
