Data Engineer with Azure Expertise Location: Hybrid role in Birmingham, 1 day per week in the office for first 4 weeks then fully Remote (with quarterly office visits) Salary: £50,000 per annum We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our innovative team and enhance our data systems and processes on Microsoft Azure. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity, security, and readiness of data for impactful analysis, ultimately supporting our strategic objectives through your technical skills. Your responsibilities will include: • Designing and maintaining robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and other relevant tools. • Integrating and transforming diverse data from multiple sources to create valuable datasets. • Optimizing data storage solutions leveraging Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake for efficiency. • Enhancing Power BI models and partnering on analytics initiatives to drive insights. We are looking for candidates who have: • A minimum of 12 months’ experience in Azure data engineering. • Proven hands-on expertise with Power BI and other data visualization tools. • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for driving results.
