What You Will Do At ODM Office: Information & Technology Services Bureau: Operations & Business Intelligence Classification: Infrastructure Specialist 4 (PN 20087760) Primary Technology: Endpoint Configuration Secondary Technology: Endpoint Customer Support Job Overview The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our End User Support Team. This position will lead and support enterprise-level initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise in several technologies such as Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Artificial Intelligence and Incident Management. As a Senior IT Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include: • Leads the design, configuration, automation, testing, and patching of endpoint systems using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Group Policy, and related tools • Serves as the final escalation point for complex technical issues involving hardware, software, and endpoint performance • Responds to and investigates endpoint security incidents, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and maintaining system integrity • Collaborates with IT leadership to architect and evaluate endpoint technology solutions that align with business and security requirements • Mentors junior staff and peers through structured knowledge sharing, documentation, and hands-on guidance 60 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: evaluating current IT policies, procedures and practices, recommending and/or leading IT driven change efforts, participating and/or leading activities to achieve project tasks/meet deadlines, and performing solutions design including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting. • Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems; 42 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: evaluating current IT policies, procedures and practices, recommending and/or leading IT driven change efforts, participating and/or leading activities to achieve project tasks/meet deadlines, and performing solutions design including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting. • Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems; 36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: evaluating current it policies, procedures and practices, recommending and/or leading IT driven change efforts, participating and/or leading activities to achieve project tasks/meet deadlines, and performing solutions design including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting. • Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
