Today, the Company and its subsidiaries are market leaders in Thermo King transport refrigeration, Versalift aerial buckets, TICO terminal tractors, Club Car commercial vehicles, Knapheide truck bodies, trailer repair, and consumer golf carts. Force TK is one of North America’s largest and most respected dealerships in the critical transport refrigeration space Work setting: In-person, based out of Charlotte location Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with occasional required evening and weekend hours. We are looking for a motivated Help Desk Technician to take over all aspects of maintenance and configuration of all IT computer systems. If you know how to troubleshoot and provide resolution, look for improved ways to accomplish goals and are constantly updating your knowledge of hardware, security, and software trends, this will be a great opportunity. Responsibilities: • First respondent of user support request. Provide technical support, training and respond to user help desk requests. • Administer IT equipment including WIFI access points, Cell Phones, tablets, and printers. • Administer Microsoft 365 email, SharePoint, Teams, and other Office 365 apps. • Experience with Office versions 2010/2013/2016/365 • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory • Install, troubleshoot, and support all company software • Evaluate inventory for recommending upgrades • Educate and train users to use company software solutions • Present IT training for new hire orientation and develop training for current employees • Travel as needed to nearby branch locations (Roanoke, Charleston, and Greensboro) to provide in-person support. • Other duties as assigned by IT Director This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Qualifications Qualifications • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for improving technology solutions • Experience with a helpdesk ticketing system and documentation is preferred • Experience with VOIP Phone Systems • Experience with network security best practices • Ability to work as a team and independently while displaying a professional and confident relationship with employees • The ideal applicant would show a strong desire to learn our service business software (E-Emphasys) • Be available for occasional evening and weekend hours that may be required • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Computer Imaging is a plus • High school diploma or equivalent • Must have a current valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record. Position includes stooping, bending, kneeling, sitting, standing, climbing into trailer, ladder usage, lifting up to 50 pounds, use of provided ear protection in a sometimes-noisy environment and safety glasses. This position requires a drug screen, background check and where needed meet requirements to drive.
