JOB TITLE : Systems Administrator STATUS : Full-Time TYPE : Hybrid REPORTS TO : IT Director PURPOSE : Smith Chason College is a private postsecondary institute with four locations throughout California and Arizona. The Systems Administrator that will be responsible for managing our cloud platforms, networking, servers, hardware, software, and various other technology throughout our California and Arizona locations. This role will serve as a resource to employees and students and will work collaboratively with other members of the IT team to provide exceptional service for staff, students, and the IT department for multiple office locations with upwards of 4000 users. Ideal candidates will have experience and extensive exposure in a systems administrator role. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Efficient in problem solving and troubleshooting. Possesses a passion and experience for technology, excellent communication skills, follow directives from upper management, and show the ability to work well with small and large teams. EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES : • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role or a support lead/management role. • Knowledge of the following technology is listed below. • Azure/AWS tenant configuration, Office365 administration, Exchange365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Azure Active Directory, Security and Compliance, and inTune. • SonicwallWALL, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti. • Windows-based/MAC hardware and mobile operating systems (Android, iOS, etc.). • Excellent customer service and communication skills. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES : • This position is 99% remote and will be based on a Monday - Friday schedule. Certain hours may be assigned. • You may be asked to travel to other locations in California and Arizona. • Willing to work and communicate with a full team of support technicians, administrators, and directors. Capable of being a team player. • Become knowledgeable to an advanced extent of all technology and equipment used at the company. • Manage our cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, servers, hardware/software, and various other technology. • Manage networking with SonicWALL/Fortinet and Ubiquiti. • Manage and setting up of remote and onsite servers. (AD, PACS, etc.) • Manage and setting up of laptops, SFF, AIO, etc. • Manage and setting up of printers and medical equipment. • Manage websites hosting and DNS records. • Manage various software as requested such as Verity/Zoho (CRM), Tebra (HLS), Zoom, etc. • Work as part of the support team by supplying procedures on how to resolve certain support tickets. • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues/requests as needed through documented processes within the support desk system (Zendesk). • Provide documentation of all support issues/requests, project tasks, and events. • Assist in managing procedural guides within the IT department, including the this position's procedural guide. • Work with all positions within the IT department to ensure technology systems are running as required at all sites. • Assist the IT Director with many IT department related projects that include but are not limited to inventory, budget, infrastructure, software, and more. • Create reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the company as directed by the IT Director. • Attend required meetings.
