Job Description • Proactive Engagement: • Engineers should actively participate in pre-liminary discovery sessions, technical validation, and integration tasks, rather than waiting for predefined tasks or ticket queues. • This role demands hands-on involvement in understanding access patterns, tooling requirements, and current authentication methods to support seamless integration based of Architect guidance and internal defined standards. • Artifact Creation and Documentation: • Engineers must take ownership of documentation, artifact preparation, and testing to fulfill project milestones. • This includes gathering technical evidence, maintaining accurate logs, and supporting compliance requirements, such as NYDFS. • Collaboration and Initiative: • Engineers should collaborate closely with architects, application owners, and other technical teams to align on project objectives and technical outcomes. • This is not a Pass Through or Task executor role where engineers are simply executing predefined tasks. They are expected to anticipate challenges, resolve issues proactively, and contribute to the broader project goals. • Strategic Contribution: • The engineering role is critical in achieving successful integration, and it requires technical judgment, forward planning, and problem-solving beyond routine task closure.
