YOU As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating the build, deployment, and publishing of our packaged applications and SaaS products. You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage scalable, secure, and reliable Azure infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with development and platform teams to support our cloud-native architecture strategy, enabling rapid delivery through automated CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time) Using your build expertise, you will work with development team members to develop an effective and efficient build system for cloud-native software and Microsoft Azure-based cloud solutions. You will work on creating a continuous release strategy and automating the various steps involved in deploying products to our customers (85%) Participate in backlog refinement, daily standups, and ongoing work prioritization using the Kanban methodology as part of the team’s Agile software development lifecycle. (15%) Desired Skills And Experience If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or equivalent experience required. • 6+ years of DevOps experience automating Microsoft stack builds and deploying to Azure in a distributed software organization. • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and Azure DevOps, including administering projects, service connections, agent pools, and environments. • Solid hands-on experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure provisioning, including state management and modular IAC practices. • Strong PowerShell scripting capability and familiarity with .NET builds, Visual Studio solutions, NuGet, and Github/git. • Experience managing Azure-based web hosting and Application Services. • Knowledge of deployment patterns such as Canary/Dark launch deployments. • Understanding of AI/automation tools and their application in DevOps workflows is a plus. • Ability to document build environments, CI/CD best practices, and repo preparation clearly and thoroughly. • Experience working with Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation. • Strong communication skills: clear, concise writing and effective presentation to technical and non-technical audiences. • Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. • Customer-focused and action-oriented, with a proactive and persistent approach to achieving results. WORK STATUS & LOCATION This full-time, exempt position is located in Plano, Texas as a hybrid role with an expectation of working onsite three days per week. RELOCATION Relocation is not available for this position. Pay $82,500.00 - $128,600.00/ year • Posted pay range is based upon national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.
