SharePoint Administrator, Sr. Job Description: Responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining customer SharePoint environments (Online or On-Premises), including managing site collections, permissions, and security policies to ensure secure and efficient collaboration. Monitors system performance, troubleshoots issues, applies updates, and implements backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data. Additionally, integrates SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Power Platform), automates tasks via PowerShell, enforces governance policies, and provides user training and support to optimize SharePoint’s functionality and alignment with customer’s needs. Support provided in this role covers both classified and unclassified DoD environments to ensure seamless customer operation. SharePoint Administrator, Sr. Required Skills: The candidate will be required to work with military personnel, civilian personnel, and contractors. Additionally, candidate must become familiar with all customer rules, regulation, security practices, and policies. Specific job requirement include: • Experience creating and presenting technical instructions outlining how solutions are created, detailed processes which the solutions are based on, and instructions or rules regarding how the solutions are to be used by the customer. • Experience developing and maintaining websites, sub-sites, and pages on private and public facing SharePoint servers within customer-owned-or-approved environments. • Proven ability to stay current on latest SharePoint best practices and policies provided by the customer. • Experience maintaining SharePoint Legacy portals as well as File shares in the SharePoint Portal Online (SPO). • Experience coordinating with multiple customer departments to establish, maintain, and develop their respective sites and SPO. • Ability to develop a SharePoint SOP for customer users. • Ability to prepare SharePoint briefs and provide presentation to senior customer leadership. • Experience ensuring compliance with DoD customer security protocols. • Ability to provide systems design, development, integration, and implementation support for customer’s public website. • Develop business processes and automated workflows, as required, to support two customer portal sites with subsites and one public website. • Ability to perform customer service functions as a part of an existing support staff supporting customer’s public website and portals. Requests for issue resolution and technical support must be addressed within two (2) business days. The candidate must be able to up to 50 requests for support per day. The candidate may suggest and implement changes at the direction of the government to the existing systems used for issue resolution and change requests in the spirit of continual service improvement • Experience creating, editing, and reverse-engineering new or existing SharePoint workflows. • Ability to design and facilitate group sessions on topics related to Information Technology, SharePoint, and IT system support. SharePoint Administrator, Sr. Additional Requirements: • Must be able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform assigned duties. • Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or a related discipline, and at least five years’ experience SharePoint tools, workflow, site customization, site and server security, and problem solving. • Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) required. • COMP TIA Security + Certification • Effective oral and written communication skills. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
