Salary is 140k to 155k + bonus We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies, particularly in Exchange and Teams, to join our dynamic IT team. This role will focus on managing, supporting, and optimizing M365 environments, with an emphasis on communication and collaboration platforms. You will also leverage your experience with other messaging platforms, Active Directory, Proofpoint, and design principles to ensure the organization’s IT infrastructure is running smoothly, securely, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: • Design, administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft 365 Exchange and Teams environments to ensure reliable performance and availability. • Design and implement M365 solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. • Provide technical support for M365 services, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring resolution in a timely manner. • Design and manage Active Directory infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with M365 technologies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and effective deployment of Proofpoint email security and other messaging solutions. • Utilize design principles to craft seamless user experiences and integrate M365 services with other business-critical applications. • Develop and implement strategies for monitoring system performance, optimizing resources, and ensuring security. • Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration between M365, messaging platforms, and internal systems. • Develop and maintain documentation for M365 infrastructure, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on system status, outages, or improvements. • Lead the design and deployment of messaging and collaboration solutions that meet business and technical requirements, optimizing workflows and communication. Key Qualifications: • Proven experience in supporting and managing M365 technologies, with a focus on Exchange and Teams. • Strong understanding of Active Directory and its integration with M365 services. • Experience with Proofpoint email security solutions or other messaging platforms. • Strong design skills, including the ability to craft scalable and effective M365 solutions that align with business needs and improve user experience. • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong ability to work across teams and with various stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate). • Experience with PowerShell scripting for M365 automation and management. • Experience with user experience (UX) design principles, especially for messaging and collaboration platforms. • Strong background in designing and implementing cloud-based systems, with an understanding of security best practices.
